Heritage

Wengang has been making brushes for 1,700 years. We have been part of that since 1987.

Wengang, in Jinxian County, is known as the Capital of Chinese Calligraphy, and roughly 70% of China’s brush output comes from here. Our own story starts with a family workshop making calligraphy brushes by hand — the same craft that runs through every line we make today.

Jiangxi Yihuale Pen Industry Co., Ltd. was established in 2003 in the Wengang Economic Development Zone and has grown into a full-range brush manufacturer: 5,000 m² of floorspace, more than ten production lines and 86 staff, including five dedicated QA/QC inspectors.

Milestones

  • 1987 — The family workshop starts hand-making calligraphy brushes — the craft the brand is still built on.
  • 2003 — Jiangxi Yihuale Pen Industry Co., Ltd. is established in the Wengang Economic Development Zone.
  • Dec 2010 — First export shipment leaves the factory; the company begins serving overseas importers.
  • 2018 — A milestone year: sales reach more than 80 countries worldwide across the brush range.
  • Aug 2022 — EU Registered Community Design No. 009157647-0001 is registered for a nail brush.
  • Jan 2026 — European patent application EP26150574.7 for a controllable direct liquid oil pen is filed.
