Process

Six stages, all in-house.

01

Bristle selection & grading

Hair and filament are graded by hand for tip, elasticity and uniformity before anything is assembled.

02

Ferrule & handle forming

Ferrule metal and handles are formed and finished to the drawing, then matched to the graded bundle.

03

Hand assembly

Bundles are set, glued and crimped by hand, which is why the tip holds its point instead of splitting.

04

Logo application

Silk printing, pad printing, embossing or laser engraving applies your mark to handle or ferrule.

05

Quality control

Incoming material checks, in-process inspection and a 100% finished-goods check by five inspectors.

06

Packing & dispatch

Packed to your requirement, pre-shipment inspected and dispatched — 98.7% on time.

Verification

Come and see it —
or watch it live.

We are an Alibaba Verified Factory with an on-site audit report and a VR showroom. If a flight to Nanchang is not practical, we will run a live video call along the line and walk you through the batch you are about to approve.

Nearest airport: Nanchang Changbei (KHN). Wengang is roughly 60 km from the airport and 40 km from Nanchang city.

Heritage

Wengang has made brushes for 1,700 years.

Our history

Wengang, in Jinxian County, is known as the capital of Chinese calligraphy brush-making, and roughly 70% of China's brush output comes from here. Our own story starts with a family workshop making calligraphy brushes by hand — the same craft that runs through every line we make today.

That heritage is why the hand work still matters: hair grading, bundle setting and crimping are done by people who have done it for years, not only by machines. It is also why we can hold a tip on a #2 liner that a machine-formed brush cannot.
